Roblyer & Hughes (2023) discuss the importance of equitable access to websites for all students.  Examples of how technology and assistive devices are used to meet the needs of all students are first, devices with problem-solving functions with integrated strategies to serve the classroom needs. Roblyer & Huges (2023) described this software as a program specifically designed to scaffold students as they practice solving complex problems. Computer equitable access is important to students with special educational needs. Having access to computers can also lead to supporting the different skills of these students such as communication or writing. An example is for writing skills, students who cannot use pens and papers due to physical impairment can be supported by assistive devices. Erdem (2018). Examples of assistive technology are, google classroom, Math Talk which transcribes technical vocabulary into mathematical language, and speechify which is software that translates text to speech into an audio format. Students with special needs must be provided with equal learning opportunities in learning.
